How to Determine My Reporting Date?

Featured Replies

I know it's a stupid question, particularly after I have been here on a Non-O visa (marriage) for 2 years now and into my 3rd and should know. crazy.gif

No doubt it's been asked before but asking again to save the often lengthy searches and to get the latest.

For the first time when I renewed recently I did not get any receipt or stamps which detail my next due reporting date?

Last year i was reporting online and the approvals I got always had the next reporting due date.

It's always been on a document, stamp or approval info online.

They approved my 12 month extension early January but no paper form was issued just a stamp in the passport.

Can I determine which date in my passport is the actual basis for the next due 90 day report. There's gotta be an easy way? wai.gif

The last on line report you did will have provided the next 90 day report date.

Doing an extension does not reset your report date unless they did a new report and put the slip in your passport. If they did not do that it is 90 days from your last report which is on the receipt for your last report.

90 days from your last report.

You should have the receipt from last time.

only you and the immigration office will know the date of your last report, so if you have forgotten then i suggest a trip to immigration.

He has been reporting online, so he can just log-on to the online system and see his latest receipt. No need to go to Immigration to get that information.

Sophon

if the last report was at the office ( you op doesn't make it clear) just go ask.

if done on line (as the previous post #6), then check online if that posible,

Have you been out the country at all since starting yearly extensions. if not then counting 90 days from your first extension should give you some idea

Thank you all.

Oops! Regardless of the Stay permitted date of 6/12/15 when I also re-applied for a new 12 month extension, my last online report in September had a next reporting date of 19/12/15.

I had the paper with me at the time of applying for the 12 month extension on 6/12/15 but one of the clerical staff at the office in Jomtien at the time told me "not need, not need and told me to ting".

It sounds like I was given the wrong advice and should have reported back for the 90 Day Report on 19/12 anyway? Correct?

(BTW: The reason I am obviously confused is because when I renewed in 2014 I was out of the country at the time so got the 12 month extension and a new 90 day dates at the same time. This was my first "normal" 1 year extension.)

Thank you all.

They probably meant that your report was not due yet or could not be done if that was 15 days before your report date.

Only your first extension is considered a 90 day report.

You need to make the report and pay a 2000 baht fine for late reporting.

Thank you all.

You will now have to report in person and hope the fine for late reporting is 2000 and not the max. of 5000 Bht ............

Damn, Live and Learn. I'll head down to Jomtien Monday morning and expect to pay the fine unless "sugarmouth" (my wife) can talk them out of it.
