I arrive home sometime this Friday and i'll ask the wife if she knows of any and let you know. There was one for rent near our place.

Has your wife still got that farm land as Mrs Stingy is still looking for some?

Ok thanks. I hear Muak Lek is a decent place to be.

Yes she still has the land.

Hello misterphil, yes Muak Lek is nice up there, we are down near the city. The one for rent near our place is a dump. Sorry don't know of any others.

Do you know of any village names? My wife is there now looking around but cant find anything suitable.

I was going to say Mortlec, ,near by is an independent collage ,with some Farangs, ,for a house come out of Mortlec, on to the road Wong Mung and the Passack Dam ,about 2 kg from the traffic lights, left hand side , is Bann Australia ,houses' built in the Australian style, they is a map of Australia ,on a post beside the road ,so I have been told( true or not I do not know ) they where built by a Australian ,but using Thai labour .

I would say renting is a good idea ,as for buying land / house in the Motlec area ,especially around hills on the road going to the Pasack Dam ,and around the water falls ,will not be cheap the whole area is now becoming popular, with resorts growing all the time .

Misterphil This could be your lucky day.

Not sure why you want to live in an expat

community, but I currently live in Australia

village Muak Lek, which as mentioned is

next to what is now known as Asia Pacific

University, so a fair smattering of expats

in the village.

The good news is am about to vacate my

full-on European style rented house

(two years old) within the next month

if you are interested, otherwise several

other properties available.
