NLA to discuss various issues Jan 28-29

BANGKOK, 24 January 2015 (NNT) - Members of the legislature are scheduled to discuss more issues before the end of the month.

President of the National Legislative Assembly Pornpetch Wichitcholchai has issued an order calling for a sitting of all NLA members on January 28 and 29.

The topics that the NLA members are to discuss include the setting up of a committee to inspect background, behavior and ethics records of each candidate nominated for the position of President of the Supreme Administrative Court, and the approval of the list of benefits in goods and services for under-developed countries.

The NLA will also listen to the responses to questions put to the Prime Minister about problems related to the Thaicom satellite concession and to the Commerce Minister about subsidized rubber products at prices that are higher than the real costs.
