Short question! Is it possible to view the marriage certificate of a Thai person you are not related to? Can I go into an Amphur office in bkk and ask for that? I have different versions of whether a lady is married or not! She claims she is single but a good friend of mine is pretty sure she is legally married. It would be to know for sure! :-) Will it help if I have her id-number at Amphur?

she could be married to a Thai via the village marriage, but this is not a recognized marriage as we know it, if you have doubts then I suggest to ask her face to face, if you feel she is not telling the truth then walk away.
