Teaching Subjects Other Than English

Hi I did a search but didn't seem to be much on here.

Is there any demand for teaching Accountancy or maybe other subjects in English in Thailand? It's just that I'm a qualified accountant so thought I'd look into it or perhaps other subjects.

Best bet is to approach some of the Universities who have 'international' programs.

ABAC and Chula both spring to mind.

For a semi decent university, you will probably need minimum of masters to teach english about that subject/undergrad level accounting, and some work experience. Perhaps even a phD.

I have had a couple of foreign accountancy lecturers in my time here already, so they are around. If you have a decent post grad degree from a decent uni you can definitely make better money at the private unis like AIT, ABAC, Mahidol int program, Thammasaht Int program, Sasin and even the next grade of private unis Bangkok U, Rangsit, THai Chamber of commerce.

Beats teaching just english if you already know something about accounting, as the students will probably be a bit more enthused about the whole thing.

There is demand in the English Programs for subjects other than English. My school teaches Math, Science, Health, Computers, Social Studies and PE in English.

Best in Pattaya teaches the same in English as well as Thai.
