January 27, 201610 yr Aiming for Number 1 most dangerous roads AND worst drivers in the world..... Edited January 27, 201610 yr by MaxLee
January 27, 201610 yr ever hear of down shifting? its the second thing you do after using the emergency brake. the drivers should be using a combination of down shifting and braking every time they need to slow down. i know, that is two things to do at once, but you will get the hang of it. lets hope the kid is OK. and get these stupid police check points of the roads. they cause more accidents and traffic jams. January 27, 201610 yr The bus driver is a hero. So he makes himself out to be. his lips were moving when he told that story, so the opposite is just as likely to be true.
January 27, 201610 yr Driving too fast and panicked upon seeing the checkpoint, but still had piece of mind not to crash his side of the bus into the post. regards Worgeordie
January 27, 201610 yr and get these stupid police check points of the roads. they cause more accidents and traffic jams. And you'd be the first to complain if they are not there checking on drunk drivers etc.

January 27, 201610 yr ............changing down with an automatic gearbox, please explain. Just like a manual except no clutch to disengage. You move the selector through the gate to the next lowest gear and use engine braking. Most modern cars in Thailand have this feature but whether the pink bus has a sequential selector I know not.
January 27, 201610 yr So the dumb driver did not know how to decrease his speed with the gearing system ? Truly a dummy.
January 27, 201610 yr The bus driver is a hero. Driving into a electricity pole??? A post accident inspection of the vehicle and driver is needed... Had the brakes failed? Failure due poor maintenance? Standard of maintenance? Driver DUI? Driver eyesight and medially fit?
January 27, 201610 yr . Not the first time a Thai racing driver has been in pole position either. At least he hit an inactive post
January 27, 201610 yr Brakes don't suddenly stop working. That happens if a hose breaks but they should be checked regularly. Good that the crappy bus is off the road now, it's really time for new ones. Also the busdrivers are too lazy to drive professional.

They aren't like the brakes in the rest of the world. You are farang. You no unnastan'.
