Turkish police recover stolen 'Picasso' painting

ISTANBUL: -- Turkish police have recovered what is reported to be an original painting by Pablo Picasso.

The work is believed to be the “Nude Brushing Her Hair” and was picked up in Istanbul when officers posed as buyers.

The painting is said to have been stolen in New York and was being sold for almost six and a half million euros.

In the past, Turkish police have recovered paintings believed to have been originals but that turned out to be fakes.

They cut it into pieces and reassembled it wrong!

When the opportunity arises, it may be interesting to consider that it is never too late for a first time visit to an art museum.

I wonder how Picasso gets away with painting a nude like this when the girl in the painting is obviously only a minor?
