Pattaya Police arrest nuisance emergency 191 caller



PATTAYA: -- On Monday Night the control room at Banglamung Police Station received 7 nuisance calls from a man who was later located and arrested.

The calls were received from Khun Samak aged 41, who sounded as if he was heavily intoxicated when he was calling. He used a series of expletives when talking to Police on the Emergency Police Response Line 191.

Police were keen to track him down and ascertained he was living in the Takiendier area. After a search and some help from local residents, they were able to locate the man, who claimed he called the emergency number as his 6-year-old step-son had stolen items from him and he wanted him arrested.
