Photo: Kritsada MueanhawongKRABI: The discovery of human skulls, bones, pottery and cave paintings in Krabi could mark a fishermen's burial site dating as far back as 700 years ago, experts announced yesterday."Everything was found in a cave about 56 meters above sea level and about three kilometers from Ao Naam Port," explained Phuket archaeologist Tawatchai Chanpaisansilp, who visited the site yesterday.“We initially thought that the find was just the remnants of travellers who died here. Dumbastheycome Posted February 3, 2016 Share Posted February 3, 2016 In period equivalent to the "dark age" ancient is a relative term. Not much in SEA is dated much more that 800 years. The blank space of factual knowledge is fascinating as to the demise of a very sophisticated populace. A global incident seems to have left us with mostly legend and supposition. Oh to know !
