Potter
What rights do you have on a 1 year marriage non immigrant visa? Do you still have to leave the country every 90 days? Can you renew inside Thailand? After having a marriage visa for years, can you then apply for a permanent ressidence permit? Anything else I should know? Thanks Potter

lopburi3
1. There is no marriage visa. 2. Those married to a Thai are eligible for a non immigrant O visa to visit - believe this is probably what you are thinking of. 3. This visa can be single entry for 90 days or multi entry (again 90 days each). 4. With 40k per month family income and other documents this visa permitted stay can be extended for one year at a time. 5. After three years in country on extensions of stay as in 4 above a person can apply for permanent residency. But it is not an automatic approval by any means. See pinned item at top of visa section for details.
