Where to find a Jews Harp

Featured Replies

I never heard of a Jews Harp until yesterday, but a friend in the UK has requested I look around for one just on the off chance. I's a musical instrument as seen here .. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jew's_harp

So if anyone has any suggestions please let me know.

our best bet is ordering one online or ask around with the thai musicians and show them a picture of it. Also good music shop might know

Don't think you will find it in pattaya.

I think these days it's more politically correct to call it a Mouth Harp. They exist in different forms all over the world,

considered one of the oldest musical instruments, and has no particular connection to Judaism.

The highest musical refinement realized as the "Morsing", a percussion instrument in the Carnatic tradition of classical music of

South india.

Check out the solo at 01:55 where S. Kannan begins his interplay with the mrdangam.

These are elite artistes.

I'd look in musical instrument stores, especially percussion shops. I'm fairly certain I have seen them around in Thailand.

I've got one of these at home, can't think for the life of me where I got it.

I'm pretty certain I got it in Thailand at one of the festivals on Beach Road in Pattaya..
