Feel better?

Because the Canucks I'm listening to on the YouTubes estimate 100,000 job losses. That's not MAGA's talking. It's Canucks.

That's a high price to pay for a soundbite.

Of course, Ford and Carney won't be paying the price. That'll be ordinary Canadians.

I've never been there but anyone currently liberal i wouldn't consider ordinary anymore. Thats if they understand and subscribe to what their ideology currently entails

I used to do some of business in Calgary and around Alberta. The people there were great. Very welcoming. Always tried to time my trips in the summer to visit Banff and spend a week or so. Spectacular!

You're welcome.

Good response to that classic response when there's no actual counter argument to make. Instead of addressing why Canada thinks it can burn its primary security and trade partnership to court authoritarian regimes, we just get playground insults. Carney’s posture might win points with the anti US international leftist crowd, but turning your back on 250 years of North American integration to take a stand alongside the CCP and Iran is economic suicide.

It's emerging from several sources that last minute interference of prominent member of the Stoopid cabinet Howard Lunic (frequent guest on Epstein Island and all around douche bag) killed the deal.

https://archive.ph/ZGi8S

"US-Canada trade talks collapsed after last-minute pressure from Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick, according to people familiar with the matter, leaving President Donald Trump to impose new tariffs and Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney vowing retaliation.

With the countries spiraling into a full-blown trade war, the spotlight is on Lutnick’s role in the last-minute talks. Lutnick viewed a framework deal as too generous to Canada and emerged as a champion for US metal producers who wanted to claw back concessions, the people said, speaking anonymously to discuss the negotiations."

Thanks for the education but the only one who can mistake that guy's unique style of writing is you. Try plugging his paragraph into Ai and post it here instead of being lazy and posting the Ai slop everywhere here you are infamous for. Doing what you folk do best, projection

Since you're not a native English speaker do you use AI when writing posts?thumbsup

Dear PM Carney, do it!

""I'd love to see [Trump] run cars without any oil. I'll love to see him grow vegetables and fruit without the potash," Ford said on Monday. "President Trump underestimates us, and that's the biggest mistake." Canada also has significant reserves of critical minerals like lithium, nickel and graphite.

The US is Canada's top destination for overall mineral exports, another point where Ottawa could apply pressure."

Thanks, and now soon the idea of "invading Canada" should show up from @Cameroni . 🙂

"The US invading Canada makes perfect sense. The US could just take the 33 trillion USD in natural resources the Canadians have. A good portion of the US national debt of 40 trillion USD could be paid off."

China is already squeezing Trump's nuts over critical minerals, now he wishes to antagonise his alternative supplier!

Shows how little you know. Ford has been a well known bully for decades. He should not be calling anyone a moron either.

Also the trade issue with lumber between canada and the usa has been going on for decades.

Restore the liberal party of Ontario.

Typically disgusting of Doug Ford to ask for anallingus, but then what does one expect from this family? His brother is a coke addict.

All this is an excellent argument for the US to invade Canada and seize all its natural resources. Looks like Ford is underestimating the United States.

For a country that has virtually no military Canada is certainly being rather reckless.

Canadians should understand that they are not alone in this world. Russia is always ready to help defend Canada's sovereignty by supplying new weapons if its aggressive neighbor engages in unacceptable behavior.

Was a crack addict. Despite all his many many flaws Rob was actually a man for the people.

His way with words was one for the ages too....

Canadian per capita imports from the US: $10,500

American per capita imports from Canada: $1322

Yes, the trade is UNFAIR! (as the whining crybaby Trump would say)

If the US imported $1 billion in rosary beads from the Vatican, but the Vatican only imported $5 million of sacristy wine, Trump would scream UNFAIR, despite the Vatican having a population of <1000

You mean like Iran?😂

So Canada is tailoring it's response to hit the reddest states the hardest for obvious reasons.

Go, Canada!thumbsup

"Canadian Industry Minister Mélanie Joly suggested that the levies were selected with upcoming US midterm elections in mind. “We’re also targeting products that will target states in the US. And so we’re being wise and strategic to put political pressure, and that’s why we think it’s the right thing to do right now,” she told reporters on Tuesday."

Didn't the USA just lose a war, the war against Iran? Not a single war goal was achieved, unless the war goal had been to fire all of its missiles, to raise the price of gasoline in the USA, to delete the Strait of Hormuz from global trade routes. And all because the Americans elected an incontinent Moron as their president.

And now conquer Canada? Ridiculous.
