It comes with a 500gb hdd..7200rpm I think I intend to put my ssd in it to run Windows 10 and connect my other 2tb drives for media so not really worried about storage I don't play games so I thought i wouldn't need anything like a hi spec graphics card etc... I want to use it for reading , YouTube, movies browsing online, powering my surround sound system and generally basic tasks Also wanted usb 3 or 3.1 because I sometimes move big files I looked at a few 2nd gen i7's on Craigslist and they are only a couple of k cheaper without any warranty : http://bangkok.craigslist.co.th/search/sss?query=Core%20i7&sort=rel If there's anything better around the 15k bracket I would consider it for sure.... But need one ASAP Edited February 10, 2016 by Ks45672

Pib
your computer will be fine for what you would like to do and its cheap. ^^^Ditto. And the 3 year on-site warranty is nice...you won't be getting that by going to the local shop to have a desktop made. Get a SSD soonest as that adds a nice performance boost to old and new computers alike.

I'll probably be buying a Samsung 850 EVO 500GB over the next week or so for a new i5 Lenovo laptop I bought last week. I've had Samsung 840 EVO 500GB in my primary i7 Lenovo laptop for around 2 years now....been very happy with it.

Unless you are adding an additional network card, but you didn't mention that in your original spec. What NS didn't mention was the HDD/SSD which will add cost to his 15,430 baht. All for his suggestion of getting a reliable power supply and i would up the RAM to at least 8GB and make sure you are running a 64 bit OS to utilise the extra RAM. NomadStrategy
SSDs are huge improvements. If you need special features look at specific motherboards, but sound, network, wifi, etc comes standard in many motherboards now.

wpcoe
I forget the name of the license, but Microsoft licenses some corporate users with the ability to generate Windows product codes under a bulk licensing scheme. I read someplace (TV?) that those cheap "genuine" Windows licenses being offered on sites like eBay are some rogue Microsoft corporate licensees who are gaming the system by retail selling product codes intended only for internal use by the licensee's business, and that Microsoft was wising up: some users with such "genuine" versions purchased online are being flagged by Windows Activation and the users are advised their Windows version is not genuine ... ISTR the desktop goes to black and there is a limited time of use before the Windows installation is unusable after a short duration (maybe ten minutes?).
