BANGKOK: Metropolitan Waterworks Authority (MWA) announced today (Friday) that it would stop pumping operations at Mahasawat water treatment plant next Tuesday night from 9.45 pm until 5 am of the next day to facilitate the maintenance of electrical system.

The stoppage of water pumping operations will weaken or stop the flow of tap water in the following areas next Wednesday: Petkasem road from Kanchanapisek intersection to the last service point of MWA, Ekkachai road from Klong Ratchamontri to the last service point of MWA, Kanchanapisek road from Petkasem intersection to Rama II intersection, Bang Bon 3 and 5 roads, northern Klong Phasi Charoen road, Buddha Monthon 2 from Thaweewattana intersection to Petkasem intersection, Buddha Monthon 3 from Thawewattana intersection to Petkasem intersection.

Any affected households can call the public service centre at 1125 for more information or for help.
