NewlyMintedThai
Have a friends visiting with family from US. First visit, in on 30-day visa exemption, not visa runners. Kids want to cross from Ranong for a day, just to have a wander around, get some different sights and smells, and to be able to say they were in Myanmar. Any issues at present? Thank you! 4evermaat
See http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/topic/891808-ranong-border-run-jan-2016/?p=10424684 Shouldn't have any issues. Have $10 bills, new looking without any marks, tears, etc. The bank nearby the pier (Kasikorn?) should do this at the bank exchange rate. Otherwise, you'll be paying 450-500 baht per $10 from the boat staff. I don't know if the kids need to pay the $10. How old are the younger travelers?
