Look at the Pick-UP and Car adverting from Toyota, Isuzu and Mitsubishi, they all show the vehicles racing and doing impossible feats that could only be achieved by professional drivers. What kind of message does that send out to prospective customers? "You to can drive like this if you own one of our Vehicles" Thailand will always remain top of the list as the worst country for road accidents. As most Thais would say "Its part of our culture".
