Chicken cashew rice on 2nd Rd?

Featured Replies

Anyone know a good, relatively low-cost place that sells chicken cashew rice on second Road? Or even Beach road or Pattaya Klang? 3rd Road has a great place but it's a bit too far for me.

3rd road is to far.......wow!

When I need a quick meal and 1 hour back and forth plus eating time is too much. 3rd road is too far.

Wanna Break sells a good chicken cashew dish, generous portion. It's beside Las Vegas III on Soi Yamato (Soi 13/1). Tell K. Wanna that Sixpack sent ya. Las Vegas opens at 2 pm.

For the best tasting and value for money (by far) chicken cashew nut + othe dishes, go to the Boat restaurant on 2nd road. Great food, cheap and very good selection.

Kiss restaurant has a lot of detractors but I like their chicken with cashew nuts. About 100 baht.

2nd rd at the corner of Soi Diana Inn.

Taste of Thailand, Soi 13, good food a lil more but worth it

Good God, a thread on chicken and cashew nuts, I've seen it all now.

Try China.

If 3rd road is a little far I think your 'comedy answer' of China is definitely too far, don't you? At least you show cased your comedy talents though ;)

Still waiting to see a Thai ordering Chicken and Cashew nuts.

I am a chicken with cashew nut fan along with other Thai dishes but... Kiss Restaurant only adds onions to this particular dish. I suppose only having sliced onions keeps the price down. Coffee Club has a great Chicken with Cashew nut with a mix of vegetables and a tinge of spiciness. (not inexpensive but you get what you pay for)

yes, yes i do.

it is of chinese origion, but very very much a thai staple.

why would you argue that it isnt?

Sure, just add some chilli and suddenly it's a Thai dish.

A Thai Staple ?

No Chance !

It always seems to me, that there is a big difference in the dishes that Thais actually eat, and what Foreigners think they eat.

Learn how to cook

As usual 7/11 adds the best of Thailand to the menu with their new chicken cashew rice meal:

Don't sweat it Hal. Someone will be along shortly to point out that 7-eleven is a foreign concept that is owned by Thai-Chinese people.
