Debate brawl: Rubio and Cruz go hard after Trump

Featured Replies

Yes, the US elections are getting entertaining if not expectantly lacking in substance.

Seems there is a little voter rebellion against the establishment crooks for the perceived outsider.

Still, it isn't going to matter, the scripted show will still move on regardless who gets to be figurehead.

In other news the writer of the movie Idiocracy, a satirical look at America's future, says his prophecy has come true faster than he expected. Those that have seen the movie will probably understand.

People see government as big and complicated. These three jokers have made it easy to understand <snip>

I think you could substitute the word "politics" for "government" here. I doubt most Trump supporters would even be able to name the three branches of government, let alone understand their roles.

But you're spot on about the media, the news channels must be making a fortune out of this election, far more than they do outside it. A lot of people think that the media make loads of money when there is a big disaster like 9/11, but it's the complete opposite: Advertisers don't like their names on screen alongside really bad news.

They don't seem to mind when it's a comedy show like the Republican debates, and Trump has to be an advertisers dream.

People are watching him just to see how much more outrageous he can get (or should I say obnoxious?).
