Buying A Business In Thailand

Featured Replies

Hi

I am new to this forum, I am moving to Thailand end of this year 2006. I am looking for a magazine publishing type of business that I can either purchase or go into a partnership with people already running it.

Once I am in contact with potential seller then I am in a position to go into details as far as my experience in this field. I do have 15 years business experience behind me.

Anyone that can help expect a commission for introduction.

Thanks guys

:o to Thailand

Chiang Mai Mail (weekly tabloid) in Chiangmai has just folded. It was originally a good rag but a combination of factors (I won't go into details, "in fact I don't have much") resulted in it going belly up with the last edition on Saturday 21 October.

As best I can understand it, it was an off shoot of Pattaya Mail. If that is the case they (Pattaya Mail) would have details... "google them"

The general concensus in Chiangmai is that there is a desperate for a good weekly tabloid in the city.

There is a big expat population in the city and surrounds.

If you were to have a good team, one that could delve out the news, solicit and secure advertising it would be a goer (IMHO)
