bangkokfrog
...aid relevant agencies in digging ground water wells, construct reservoirs and dredge waterways, all of which are now 60 percent complete. Amazing. How long have we known about the looming water crisis? One wonders how long they have been working on this so-called "project" and how long it will take to complete the remaining 40% of the work. (Oh and has anyone told them that for new reservoirs and waterways to be of any help you need to have some rain to fill them in the first place?) Srikcir
Why is the military so involved in civilian affairs????????? Because there is no civilian government ... it's a military government. Since May 2014 when the RTM overthrew the civilian government. And likely to remain a military government into 2017.

Hawk
60% complete? No way! Government are not helping the farmers, the farmers drill their own wells if they can afford to do so. As for the dredging, that's a complete joke.
