If you're an American and wish to vote in the Democratic Primary this year, an actual polling station will be open in Chiang Mai: Wed March 2nd, and Sat March 5th (details below). Bring your passport.

The Democratic Party has given 21 delegates (more than Vermont, Wyoming and the Dakotas) to those of us who live outside the USA. So take this opportunity to make the expat voice heard back in Washington! (You also can vote absentee from your state of residence, if you wish, instead)

The Republican Party does not award delegates to citizens living outside the United States, so you will need to vote absentee ballot from your home state as normal.

Just a quick reminder that Democrats Abroad Global Presidential Primary polling stations will be open tomorrow (March 2nd) from 3pm to 8pm at Old Chiangmai Cultural Center. There will be signs directing you but it will be in a room inside. There is plenty of parking just before the Center in their separate parking lot (after if you are coming down Wualai)

Saturday the 5th the Polling Station will be at Payap University Mae Khao Campus at the Sirindhorn Learning Center (Library) from 10am to 5pm. We will be front and center so you can't miss us!!

If you are bringing friends who have not yet registered with Democrats Abroad please ask them to bring their passports.

See you tomorrow or Saturday!!

What's the point? Clinton is taking it with ease. Yes, I am a skeptic... but realist

Heck of a choice. Ill pass.

I know, right!? If only there were some way, some sort of referendum maybe, to express your displeasure or express your opinion on who should be President of the United States? Ideally it would be easy, like showing up to tick a box, or mailing a letter, or filling out a form online. It would be just like posting your political views on Thai Visa, except for you know, counting.

Let's be honest, this time around is a sh*t show, so if this is the best the USA has to offer, I'll vote for the jester who entertains the best, Trump!

Besides, he is hated by both parties, so that is reason enough.
