PM calls on all sectors to address global threats

BANGKOK, 10 March 2016 (NNT) - Thailand Prime Minister General Prayut Chan-o-cha is urging all member countries of the Asia Cooperation Dialogue, or ACD, to cooperate collaboratively in order to tackle common challenges found throughout the globalized world, including poverty, climate change, epidemics and general conflicts.

The prime minister today presided over the 14th ACD Ministerial Meeting at the Siam Kempinski Hotel and emphasized that member countries need to find strength in diversity as the ACD moves forward as a whole, and people's participation from all sectors is needed to collaborate and implement actions in order to create policies that work.

In the 14th ACD Ministerial Meeting, Thai officials will prioritize 20 agendas within six clusters, namely connectivity, education, human resource development, tourism and culture, sustainable development and science and technology.

Moreover, the Sufficiency Economy Philosophy of His Majesty the King will be proposed as a way to support the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals by 2030, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs spokesman said.

Call upon countries....together tackle poverty, climate change epidemics, general conflict? He forgot to mention invoke world peace and this high school graduation valedictorian address would have been perfect. Does he ever stop pontificating? Sheesh!

so renegade military generals didn't make his list of threats whistling.gif ....

...and free speech?

.. .so how exactly is Thailand collaborating to tackle, for example, climate changes? Building new new gas- and coal-fired power stations?

He has run out of crackdowns so he started fixing the world , 555

He has an urgent need to qualify himself as a world leader.

Start with brushing up on your English general.

The BiB has been ordered to stop ISIS terrorists from infiltrating Thailand through the hole in the ozone layer.

Perhaps the PM could start in his own back yard? Minimise road trauma and deal with Narathiwat’s Chanae district bomb blast and other internal problems? whistling.gif

Got to stop talking and telling everyone else what to do and start leading by example.

The man is going global !

Say no more.....

Funny indeed considering how completely insular the entirety of Thailand is. These people NEVER collaborate on anything outside of Thailand.

LOL

They don't collaborate inside of Thailand either.

Nationalism just gives that appearance.

The guy needs to set this country in order first, he needs to lead by example. Which is obviously completely beyond his capabilities. Megalomaniac fits perfectly.

Maybe he means the rest of the world should adopt Thainess?
