Soupdragon
Would it help if any of the numerous expats that walk the beach everyday submitted reports to the Thai authorities what was happening under their noses. Or would that just interrupt their long lunches.

sendintheclowns
One of the most corrupt Tambons on Phuket, and that takes some doing!
Ulic
Well........Strangely, we all think we like virgins (beaches) but in reality, we like a little expert service. Beach umbrellas and lounge chairs, ice cold beer, a lovely massage. All good.
lvr181
Aww... c'mon on folks I am sure he means virgin free? Poster #3 hit the spot. I think the vendor is saying "Who are you kidding?" And what does "...mark out the zone soon." mean? Soon could be tomorrow or ten years depending on your perspective! Just another "announcement" to show action (when, actually, none is forthcoming). I'm thinking that these "announcing" people should be recycled into bagpipes

bino
mark out the zone soon." mean? It means they are soliciting bids and waiting to see which vendors will proffer the fattest brown envelopes to have their area included in the zone.

tirekicker
Kamala was a "virgin beach" close to 20 years ago when both ISIS restaurant and Divers restaurants / bar where there along with two other Thai owned restaurants at each end of the beach. Can't see it ever being like that again.
Shot
Well........Strangely, we all think we like virgins (beaches) but in reality, we like a little expert service. Beach umbrellas and lounge chairs, ice cold beer, a lovely massage. All good. With all do respect, please leave me out of your "we". I prefer nothing but sand, trees and whatever I pack in and out. Plenty of places near the beach to satisfy all of the other stuff.
