About 20 kms south of Korat on Hwy 2 head toward Pakchong. Left hand side large nursery. GF said it was called "cokewood" or sounded like that.

From Chokchai, just outside Korat, take the 304 heading to Pattaya. Just before or after (can't remember) Wang Nam Khaio you'll see loads of roadside stalls selling orchids. I didn't have time back then to stop and look around, but there were thousands of plants hanging up along the road.

Cannot comment on price or quality but from the car, they looked gorgeous.

Hello All, I when back down today after doing my 90 day at Korat Immigration,

it was a madhouse down aroun Ya Mo, the had the big fireworks set off at the

4 main gates to inside the moat.I forgot to say the the first pic is about 60-80 M

off of Hyw 224 on the road that runs in side the moat leading to Ya Mo. Behind

the pic is the moat.

the new pic is closer to Ya Mo. but where the fountain is instead of moat. It's

hard to see, but over the guy's head, you can vaguely see Krung Plaza.

But there's a lot more trees, plants and orchids past Ya Mo. R at the corner,

and L as you cross the moat and head to the RTAB, and they were setting up

along the moat.

If you do L all the way up past Ya Mo, if you go up 2 streets and turn R theres

more stuff, didn't get a good look.

In the past, if you went towards the and crossed the RR track, they had all sorts

of large landscape trees and fruit trees.

rice555 PS, there may be rain!
