KhunLing
I am considering buying a condo and I like the Hillside 4 complex. There seems to be TONNES of them available at the moment...as well as many that don't have current renters. Also, every...and I mean every...Thai person I know has said that apartments in CM are a terrible investment / almost impossible to sell after using / lose value over time. So...looking at the apartments, they all seem to want 1.2 - 1.5 million for a 45 sq m place. Realistically, what's a fair price? There's so many available that it's a buyers market etc. I realise some people on here own these...so please leave out emotion in responses if possible. It just seems to me that 1.2 to 1.5 mill is VERY unrealistic.
Cyberstar
Buying prices of 27 - 33 K per sqm is at the upper end for city dwellings. Can't speak of condos compared to each other, but buying prices for downtown 3 - 4 storey shophouses run like 8 - 15 K per sqm floor space (except the unique 1. row ones on Thapae, Loi Kroh, Chang Klan) ... including chanote for the 50 - 70 sqm land the building sits on.
