Sonkran in Korat

Featured Replies

I just had a Chinese whisper that Sonkran will only be for one day in Korat this year.

You beauty. I only have to lock myself away for 1 day.coffee1.gif

Heard the same in Udon last night from people in an entertainment area. Great.

Now if this can just be the case throughout the country,

all will be good and civilized. biggrin.png

During a SEVERE Drought Sonkran should be BANNED.

Water is too precious too WASTE.

Do Thai People realize what it is like to have NO water.

I read that Bangkok could be out of water if no rain in July.

Typical Thai thinking, Sonkran more important than survival.

Haven't heard any think about Khon Kaen, but hope it is the same and Korat.

Let them drink beer instead. Mary Andtonet had the right idea.

I don't see how they can police it if there's a ban. Only way I can think it can be controlled is if they turn the water off en bloc. Then I'd assume people would stockpile it once they suspect the water will be turned off. Nah it will continue. Thais live for today and worry about tomorrow when it gets here. Mai pen rai.

"Chinese whisper"? Now there's an oxymoron. Obviously you don't know many Chinese.
