Hi,

Can somebody confirm whether I have the correct documents for a 60 day extension?

1) Passports (both mine and my wife)

2) Photocopies of passports

3) Photocopies of visa pages etc

4) Condo rental contract (Original is better?)

5) Piece of paper stating my address and the deposit I paid (Don't understand this)

6) Wife's Tabien Ban (Copy is fine?)

7) Wife's ID card

8) Marriage cert (Original and copy)

9) My wife

10) Application form

11) Two photos

Thanks

1 and 2 Only your passport.

3. Just your most recent visa if you used one for entry, entry/permit to stay stamp and TM6 departure card.

4. Contract with copies of land lords ID card and house book attached (most offices).

5. Not needed

6. Page one and the page she is shown on.

7. Copy of it.

11. Only one 4 X 6 cm photo attached to the TM7 application form.

Hi Joe,

Number 4: My landlord is Canadian, but we've rented through an agency. As far I know, the landlord doesn't have a house book for the condo we live in. She has a house book for a smaller condo in the same complex and it's tired to the one we live in, but the address is not on it (I'm very confused about this). What can I do about the house book? Would a copy of the landlord's passport be sufficient?

Thanks a million.

Talk to the agent. They should be able to help you if you tell them what you need. Immigration just want proof the person on the contract really owns the residence.

You could try to get the extension without the ID card and house book. Not all offices will ask for them.
