It's just plain wrong. Russia does not control many of these pro-Russian militias. That's why the Minsk accords failed as well, the pro-Russian forces in Ukraine could not be persuaded to adhere to what Russia agreed. Russia does not control these groups. -

ID card as a picture in the phone?
For many years, we have heard that foreigners don't have to carry the passport at all times, a picture of the passport in the phone (or a photocopy) would be sufficient. Recently, I have witnessed several times how Thais used a photo of an ID card in their phone. Sometimes the photo is inside an official-looking app (forgot the name). But at least in one case I happen to know that the photo has been doctored. Is it normal nowadays for Thais to use a photo instead of the real ID? Does anybody use a photo of his DL or of the pink card instead of the real thing? -

It does not. The US presence in Europe in WWII had a lot to do the war with Japan and Germany's declaration of war on the USA, than it did with "saving" Europe. The Axis considered the USA far more of an enemy state than Great Britain. Churchill was a known anti communist. The USA was more accommodating of Stalin and his nation of thugs. The modern European reliance on the USA arises from the USA's insistence that Germany not rebuild its military. The USA used Europe as a buffer against Russian expansionism. The US military bases were imposed on Italy and Germany and were to the benefit of US foreign policy. Times have obviously changed, but up until the early 2000's US policy was to make Europe dependent on the USA. This allowed for ease of military sales. There was a time when the USA was a world leader. It led the way with entrepreneurship, of showcasing freedom and liberty, the rule of law and of scientific and technological advancement. That era has ended and now we see the gradual collapse of the American Empire. I didn't think I would see it in my lifetime, but all good things come to an end as they say. -

Events in wars are very dramatic - people die. However, ordinary people should always remember that politicians' moods change faster than thai bar girls` mood. And a country that was an enemy yesterday can become a best friend tomorrow. For example, the USA and Great Britain helped Russia a lot in World War II. -

Diddy’s Dark Double Life: Trial Hears Disturbing Allegations of Abuse and Sex Trafficking
He was offered a plea deal. I have no idea why he decided to go to trial. He has no chance. He is completely cooked. Even though it's no a domestic violence trial, the prosecution kept showing the hotel video and bringing it up. Nobody could possibly like him, after seeing that video and decide dispassionately on the case. His main star witness is a heavily pregnant woman. Whom he beat. Who testified he liked to urinate in her mouth together with male prostitutes. All this will completely obscure the fact that he did not engage in trafficking, kidnapping or anything of the sort. The government wants to paint his company as a criminal enterprise with the purpose of trafficking men and women. It's completely ludicrous. He faces 50 civil lawsuits in addition to this criminal trial. But rackerteering? You have got to be joking. That was meant for mafia business. How can they claim he had a business that engaged in trafficking and forced labour? What was the business? Watching his gf get banged by prostitutes? It's ludicrous. It really is. -
