Tourism Minister Thong Khon told a meeting between officials and industry executives on Monday that with a population of 156 million people Russia was a lucrative market. “We are want to exempt the Russian tourists from applying for a visa in order to attract more Russian guests to the Kingdom,” Mr. Khon said said He said about 31 million Russians vacationed outside their country every year.
