Commerce Ministry aims to export 10,000 tons of Riceberry to Hong Kong this year

BANGKOK, 7 April 2016 (NNT) - Commerce Minister Abhiradee Tantraporn disclosed that Thailand currently exports 200,000 tons of jasmine rice to Hong Kong in a year.

On her trip to Hong Kong, the Thai commerce minister is currently looking to promote the sales of Riceberry and organic rice which is twice as expensive as white rice.

Thailand is expected to export some 10,000 tons of Riceberry to Hong Kong this year and another 100,000 tons next year.

Good that they export this rice. Wife's family grew a paddy of this last season and it is real crap to eat...though it is better for you.
