Ukrainian activists protest against police corruption



Ukrainian activists burned tyres and confronted police outside a presidential office in Kyiv to protest against corruption in the justice system.

They demanded an audience with the president to call for the investigation and punishment of police and prosecutors they accuse of covering up corruption.

Never mind, a few years of hard labor will sort out their unpatriotic complaints against the Oligarchy.

Perhaps some folks here now understand the Dutch no vote.

Chase one guy out with pointed sticks and it turns out the next guy/regime is no better. Just different pockets to be filled.

It's a good thing to see a country where citizens take the street against corruption..

But that last one was chased out for different reasons. And yes, there's still massive corruption there. It's what's been causing this mess for years.
