Is there a day limit on submitting evidence at VFS?

Hello,

My wife is applying for a settlement visa for the UK .

Is there a limit on the amount of days from submitting the application online and going to VFS bangkok to hand everything in? We are waiting on a few bank statements to arrive in the post from the UK and its taking a bit longer than expected.

I just submitted a visitor visa application and I have been given a choice of appointment dates up to 11 May 2015 - so it looks to me as though you get about a 4 weeks window.

You used to be able to move the appointment but not sure if that is still an option.
