Cambodia Angkor Air on 17 April introduced a new route between Phnom Penh (PNH) and Seoul Incheon (ICN). The 3,597-kilometre route will be served four times weekly by the carrier’s A321s and will go head-to-head with Asiana Airlines and Korean Air who both operate the route on a daily basis. Flights depart Phnom Penh at 00:25 on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays arriving in Seoul at 07:35. The return flight departs Seoul at 11:35 arriving back in Cambodia at 15:15. This new route is the airline’s fifth from Phnom Penh and is easily its longest route to date, beating the 2,789-kilometre route to Shanghai.
