BANGKOK: -- Former prime minister Banharn Silpa-archa was rushed to Siriraj hospital this morning after having difficulties in breathing.

Chart Thai Pattani party’s advisor Nikon Chamlong said the party leader suffered breathing difficulties from his allergy sickness, while the morning heat accelerated the symptoms.

However he said now the party leader has recovered but needed to stay at hospital for monitoring.

He said in November last year, Mr Banharn was also rushed to hospital with same sickness.

Yeah. For some people, including me, an allergy to mildew, dust, etc., can cause recurrent lung infections. I spray rooms with alcohol which kills the mildew for a while. There is no ideal solution to allergies to dust, dust mites, mildew, etc., especially if your room has carpets, curtains, cloth furniture, bedding, etc. Frequent (daily) meticulous cleaning is hard to do consistently. My best to Mr. Barnharn. At least he doesn't live in Tokyo where the air is dirtier than Bangkok and now filled with cedar pollen which sickens millions every year. Now, in the late spring, face masks are ubiquitous but there's no way to keep the pollen and dust out of your house completely. Many people use Daikin (or other brand) aircleaners which help. You also find the aircleaners doctors' offices and other public places. I hope that Mr. Barnharn has a good and proactive allergist.
