I realise this is a Scottish thing, however I am sure there's plenty of funny Thai related experiences or stories on things that go 'bump' in the night.

anyway, lay it on us & remember it's a family forum ;)

Usually the damn geckos rattling around the ceiling in the loft space.Thats more of a scratch than a bump though.

....or the cat climbing up the shelving, oblivious to anything already there, in the vain hope of getting the gecko that's scuttling across the ceiling.

"Bumping" is only a Scottish thing? I beg your pardon..But as Englishman I beg to differ... I often bump if in in the mood..and getting out of bed to walk to the toilet at night.. BUMP..I'm big..the room is small. BUMPING is in my genes.

I've done a fair bit of bumping in my day.....even have a Ph.D. In it :D

Rats used to have parties in the loft space - they were clearly having a great time.

For some reason they've disappeared, probably been decimated by rat snakes? I'm not sure whether its better to have multitudes of rats or rat snakes - but at least the rat snakes are quiet!
