Things that go 'bump' in the night.

Featured Replies

I realise this is a Scottish thing, however I am sure there's plenty of funny Thai related experiences or stories on things that go 'bump' in the night.

anyway, lay it on us & remember it's a family forum ;)

Usually the damn geckos rattling around the ceiling in the loft space.Thats more of a scratch than a bump though.

....or the cat climbing up the shelving, oblivious to anything already there, in the vain hope of getting the gecko that's scuttling across the ceiling.

"Bumping" is only a Scottish thing? I beg your pardon..But as Englishman I beg to differ... I often bump if in in the mood..and getting out of bed to walk to the toilet at night.. BUMP..I'm big..the room is small. BUMPING is in my genes.

Which is why its a good idea to keep a clear pathway between the bed and the bathroom door. Works for me smile.png .

Rats used to have parties in the loft space - they were clearly having a great time.

For some reason they've disappeared, probably been decimated by rat snakes? I'm not sure whether its better to have multitudes of rats or rat snakes - but at least the rat snakes are quiet!
