Hi Guy,

Thought a few of you might like to know about this.

I am constantly sending funds back and forth due to business and as you know, it Thailand it can take a wee bit of time and you get slaughtered on charges a lot of the time. I have found this application online called MoneyMailMe which is a phone app and it works amazing. Only drawback is you have to have a USD account over here ( I think they are releasing a EUR and GBP version )

Here is the thing, I tried it yesterday and worked perfectly, money here on my phone within ten mins.

Now, I have not gone through it completly yet but does anyone else have experience with this phone App?

no one has?

Sorry, your sending money from the USA to Thailand or the other way around?

I see there is a 2.5% Pay-In/Top-up fee....I guess that means you pay a 2.5% fee to add money to your MoneyMailMe account. Apparently you can only transfer E-money to other MoneyMailMe members, but then a member could withdraw the E-money to their bank account. Seems to be a UK-based service.

Edit: And below link from the online Help Menu for the App indicates what bank accounts can be used, like UK, US, Canadian and "Other." I guess Other might work for Thai bank accounts to "withdraw/deposit" to...don't know. Since the Other category requires a BIC (SWIFT) code entry I'm assuming the money would arrive your Thai bank account as foreign/SWIFT remintance which means the typical 0.25% (Bt200 min, Bt500 max) receiving fee would apply.
