A CNRP councillor in Siem Reap has filed a demand for legal action against police and military police chiefs for his treatment during a raid on his home last week to arrest CNRP lawmaker Um Sam An.

The councillor, Sok Kim Seng, filed the complaint with Provincial Governor Khim Bun Song on Wednesday, targeting Sorth Nady and Por Vannith, the respective police and military police chiefs for Siem Reap, who could not be reached yesterday.

He says the men ordered their forces to illegally enter his house at midnight on April 11 to catch Sam An, who was not on the premises, and coerced Kim Seng to accompany them to the provincial station.
