LAMPANG:-- Villagers in Lampang came out to see the effects of a violent storm on Friday - a lightning strike had killed four cows in a field.

Local officials were surveying the damage caused by summer storms on Friday evening that damaged several houses in the Thern district of the northern Thai province, reports Thairath.

The owner of the cows Pairoj Tawong said that he was herding five cows back to their pen when lightning struck killing his stock. One animal managed to survive.

The officials have reported the damaged houses and loss of animal life as ways to help compensate the people who have suffered are processed.

Yes, it'll be a refreshing variation on the prosthetic leg for the lame buffalo story. thumbsup.gif
