I'm headed to Savanhnakhet next week with documents provided by the school hiring me to obtain the B visa. I am wondering if a police report is currently required so I can obtain it in advance of going. I have heard this may take up to 30 days to complete. I have lived in Thailand for a number of years so a local report should suffice. Thanks for your help.

Has anyone else tried via PCS?

Of course. That is the only way to get one.

My comment related to that the form doesn't download from their website.

So I wrote to them in February requesting a form - I'm still waiting for a reply ...

(I don't need it now).

This form (typo in name should be PCS): PSC Application form.pdf

Clicked on download and it opened in browser and was able to download it.

Yes, I am proof that it is required as I had to go back a second time with the report from PCS. The letter from your school also needs to be written in Thai not English. It took them 14 days to process

mine and then I went and picked it up.
