Individuals distributing electronic books appreciated by NLA

BANGKOK, 2 May 2016 (NNT) – The president of the National Legislative Assembly (NLA) has presented plaques to individuals who have been helping to distribute the NLA’s e-books as a token of appreciation for their service.

NLA president Pornpetch Wichitcholchai officiated at the plaque-presentation ceremony to honor representatives who distributed electronic books made by the legislature to 23 organizations. The ceremony took place on the second floor of Parliament Building 2.

The president also thanked them for their commitment to making known the work of the NLA while taking the opportunity to encourage the public to actively take part in legislation-related matters.

Electronic books which can now be found at Chulalongkorn University Book Center, Thammasart University, Advanced Info Service Public Company Limited, etc. will allow the public to better understand the work of the NLA and the country’s legislation.

Because we are all so fascinated by the detailed workings of a rubber stamp legislature.

The pre-written laws. The 5 minute debates. The unanimous votes. All the high drama unfolds in these wonderful ebooks.

Electronic books are usually found at an internet web site, not a book center.

I doubt many will be interested, not because of what some here state, nothing to do with democracy or lack of it. It's just that most people don't like to read books about political and/or legal organisations.

Just another ceremony to honor something nobody needs as it is not published in a way EVERYBODY can read: yes the farmers in the noth east Esan will sure go to University to read that bood:

Waste of money and time: Oh there is plenty in the thai government!
