Thailand: ‘Intrusive’ immigration form now mandatory for foreigners in Phuket

PHUKET: IF you are planning to visit Thailand’s resort province of Phuket, you will now be required to furnish a host of personal information, including banking account and social media details to the nation’s Immigration bureau.

Airport security under the spotlight after Egyptair crash

Leicester City FC takes time out in Phuket

PHUKET: After years of delays and last minute attempts to save illegal beach businesses from the wrecking ball, Surin Beach has finally been restored to its ‘natural’ state. In what seems to be a rather quick rise from the rubble, officials have announced the beach’s grand opening set for June 9.

Patong Mayor stays firm on Paradise Beach building demolition

PHUKET: The mayor of Patong Municipality, Chalermluk Kepsap, yesterday (May 20) stated that the demolition of a building at Paradise Beach at the south end of Patong will still need to go ahead as the land owner’s SorKor1 document is unclear and because the building sits in a land reform area.

Top US commander makes secret visit to Syria

47 Year-Old Japanese Tutor Found Hung in Bangkok Apartment

BANGKOK – Police from the Lat Krabang Police Station were called to an apartment in Soi Lat Krabang 22 after Jayama Tetsuji, 47, a Japanese language tutor was found hanging in his apartment in Bangkok’s Lat Krabang district at around 10:30 this morning.
