NAKON SI THAMMARAT: -- A 71 year old rag and bone man toured an area on his bike using his collection activities as cover for Ya Ba dealing.

Police arrested Sitthipong Sae-sim along with 25 Ya Ba pills Thursday. The man is known as Lung Mao in the Ua-Athorn estate of Nakorn Sri Thammarat and surrounding areas where he used to collect and sell old stuff for a living using his motorcycle with side cart attached reported Daily News.

Police had acted after reports of a proliferation of drugs in the area and found the unusual distribution network.

Lung Mao told the cops that he had been selling Ya Ba for about a year. He used his former job as a collector of old unwanted items as cover for his drug dealing. He said that the economy was bad and he could not earn enough money from his previous work to make an honest living.

At his house nearby police found a shotgun and bullet. He was detained for processing.

Now there's a man who looks really bothered about being arrested.

I see the press hasn't tired of their 1932 version of common English colloquialisms yet.

Happy as Larry.....

Those two should swap shirts!

Well the economy is bad......i'll give him that..............In good shape by the looks of things for 71......

Sometimes one has to do,what one has to do!

i reckon he may have been testing his own herbal cigarettes.

They could have used the alternative, "junk dealer", but then that would have had a ring of truth to it.

It is sad whichever way you look at it that a 71 year old has to go and sell drugs to survive.

The 600thb pension a month isn't bringing happiness to the people. Lung Mao knows...

Shotgun and bullet found nearby.... or cartridge?

So they found a shotgun and one bullet in his house... such a dangerous old man eh?

Exactly what good would it do to put this 71-year-old into prison?

At least he can now go on surviving without working (i.e. retire) at taxpayers' expense instead of earning a living selling high-demand commodities.
