Sandy Freckle Posted May 29, 2016 Share Posted May 29, 2016 (edited) Many years ago while travelling around Laos, I visited a pretty special place that I now cannot remember the name of and I am wondering if it is still operating. To get there I took a bus drive out of Vientiane to a river..., from where I took a small local boat along the river to this rather rustic 'eco' retreat up on the riverbank. It was just simple bamboo and locally rough sawn timber huts with a larger communal open sided kitchen..., genset power etc etc..., surrounded by light jungle and run by I think a European guy and his Lao wife. Anyway, does anyone know if it's still operating ? And can you provide me with some info on it or if it's no longer operating, something similar ?
