PHUKET: It took Sisunthon Municipality firefighters some 20 minutes to put out fires that had ignited early this morning along an entanglement of internet, cable and telephone wires in Thalang’s Manik locale.

At 5.15am police were alerted to the fires near and proceeded to dispatch a fire truck to scene, near the Supercheap convenience store, Bang Jo branch, in Sisunthon's Moo 7, where the fire had ignited at three points along a 150-metre section of cable.

Of course it was the rain. It would never have been caused by the hotch botch, criss cross and tangled web of cabling that adorns most of Phukets power poles.

an entanglement of internet, cable and telephone

later this morning the relevant agencies and companies were busy rebuilding the same entanglement to it's former glory.

Old cracked and damaged insolation,,, Duh ,,of course the rain mixed with dust will short the cables (wires) ,,,There will be many more,,We had a few down here around Hat Yai last year .
