Ear Cropping Korat?

Featured Replies

Hi there, I want to get the ears of my American Pit bull Cropped. Im in Korat, I went to see the first vet and she told me they wont do it or anyone in the province for that matter. Is there anyone in the province that does it? if not anyone know of a good place that does

Thanks

Nobody in their right mind (and certainly not a dog lover) would want to impose such a cruel, barbaric treatment on a dog - a treatment that is illegal across the entire civilised world, but is legal in America.

But then I suspect that you know this and that you've created a new account for this enquiry.

I sincerely hope you don't find anyone to do it. Leave your dog's ears alone.

Oh, and if you don't believe me that it's barbaric, how about taking a pair of shears to your own ears to find out.

lol, no i did not create a new account for that and it is not illegal in North America. I see a lot of dogs with it done in Thailand as well. The lady at the vet sounded like you. She said it was unnecessary pain.... I told her I guess its just like the Thai Lady Nose job... unnecessary pain but it didn't stop you did it? :)

Horrible Practice. I have had Pits and Dogos. Would never even think about it. I do see a lot of guys with cropped ear dogs. Almost everyone of them is fat and look like they are trying to get there dog to promote there own image of how they want to be but cant.

When I was much younger I had a Dobie who I had ears clipped. After I saw the wounds ,no way I could ever do it again. I'll ask the OP if he's ever seen a dogs ears right after they were cropped! Huge wounds

yeah that is very true but never really effected my dogs. My American Pit and my Cane corso were both done.

I believe my question was, where to get it done, not what is your opinion on this topic?

And the reply was that you are a despicable human being and nobody with any love of dogs will ever answer your vile question. Get used to it.

The difference would be the "Thai lady" would have chosen for herself to go get a nose job, she wasn't taken against her will by her "owner" and against also the law/ethical standards meant to protect her.

I may, or may not, be a "drama queen". I'm OK with that allegation. At least I'm not a thoroughly vile human being.

Nobody asked why anyone should want to do this.

Lets try it on your ears first, if you want to proceed with the dogs afterwards, you may go to Cambodia. Not Vietnam though because they may have your

dog for dinner.

At OP request
