Kenny202
Anyone know what the deal is with this place?
thaiduncankk
Most of the old patrons are no longer in Khon Kaen. I believe you got more than a haircut for your money.
willyumiii
I know of other barber shops in Thailand who offer "extra services". No, I am not telling where.
Seligne2
You could get a haircut there, you could get a beer there, and you can (at least you could 8 months ago) get a lot more there too. Here's how I wrote it up for Wikivoyage at the end of 2015: Number 1 Bar, 39/7 Na Mueang Rd (Nearest cross-street is Ammat Rd), ☎ +66 49 246110. 15:00-last man standing. Convivial little bar tucked away 15 m off Na Mueang Rd. Run by Tom, an affable and informed Aussie, and his capable (and lovely) Thai manager, Dton. Serves Western and Thai food. The bar's motto is "value for money", a motto well lived up to. No cocktails. Has a lending library and a smallish bar pool table. Here you will meet intelligent local expats and a good number of Thais as well. Tom plans to move his family back to Oz at the end of 2015, thus the future of this bar hangs in the balance. On the corner just at the path to the bar is a full-service barber shop called Ace. You can get a beer in there as well. Small Leo beer, 60 baht. thaiduncankk
Any reccos Duncan apart from Villa Ceasers Yellow house? Don't bother anymore myself. Loads dotted around, but usually Thai places, not really advertised towards falangs.
metisdead
A post in violation of the following has been removed as well as a reply: 17) You will not discuss the specifics of prostitution. Though Thailand has a visible sex industry, and acknowledgement of that fact is not forbidden, ThaiVisa is not the place to seek or give information on this topic, regardless of your sexual habits, preferences or orientation.
