Different product. That one's antifungal/antibacterial.

Lol, no dear, it was 726 CANADIAN Dollars, ie 563 billion USD. Exactly as impulse stated. I guess you got confused with Canadian and US Dollars. Let me explain it for you, you need more Canadian dollars to the US Dollar, because the Canadian dollar is worth much less. Hope this helps.

Not really. All previous administrations engaged in these bond buy-backs. The Trump team just did it smarter, focusing on the long end where the issue was most acute. Well planned and superbly executed. Interventions in currency markets are also old hat, even the UK did it in the ERM crisis, Japan does it a lot, and here Trump is just helping the Japanese really. Because he's an incredibly nice man.

Congrats. You have done some research. In short: To buy phisical Gold in Thailand is a daily event in Thailand and nothing special. To buy "paper Gold" by a Thai Bank is a different matter, as they have no "minute by minute" access to fast moving Gold markets. I can't figure it out. If I saw a man sporting a beard in north Norway, I'd understand that it helps to keep one's face warm (a la polar bear fur etc). But in Thailand? Why? I tend to assume: If the man is bald, then they are self-conscious of this and trying an 'upsidedown' look.... they are hiding a receding chin they are simply too lazy to shave (this is 95% the real reason!)
