According to the Bangkok Post, Thailand has proposed including the dance on UNESCO’s Intangible Cultural Heritage list, which aims to preserve practices, instruments and skills of cultures and traditions. Na because when The Air America boys out of Udorn started going here in the early 1960s then The American G.I.s in the late 1960s they set Pattaya up as a mixture of Gate Two Street in Okinawa and Angeles City bar area from the main Gate area of Clark Field..So very outside infulence all the way.
