KMartinHandyman
Oops no longer a myth of folklore. Who might the 3rd parties be? What a great undercover assignment,,get a soapy while gathering evidence and maybe a few phone numbers.
Reigntax
"evidence gathering with officers posing as customers." I bet the evidence gathering required frequent, repeat visits by all authorities involved. Probably even extended to many hours of off duty "evidence gathering". Smiley Face
Of course, police officials will be clamouring for reenactments of the heinous crimes committed by the sex workers. It's expected that the reenactments could take months to complete.

NongKhaiKid
So illegal payments will be traced through bank statements or will they ? Even if that aspect of carried out will it ever be made public who received these payments and / or who was really operating the establishment and not just some fall guy managers etc. ? streetsweeper
How did the police establish that all 100 girls were offering sexual services? Betcha' that number gets whittled down to 5 very quickly and the others will be deemed as a cheer-leader and choral singing group. The police are incapable of even fathoming what to do with such a bevy of evidence! .... and what about Junta Jumbo's request for happiness? Isn't there a conflict of interest here? 100 girls ticked off, 100 sets of parents ticked off because of cash flow interruption and of course the little men around the corners who have an investment in the whole operation! *** can't wait to see how this all washes out

chrisinth
So illegal payments will be traced through bank statements or will they ? Even if that aspect of carried out will it ever be made public who received these payments and / or who was really operating the establishment and not just some fall guy managers etc. ? Still, the very fact that this information has been released means something is being done about it instead of being brushed under the carpet. If the bank records are in the evidence system, it will be very difficult to isolate payments to any given individual, all or nothing. I can envisage a lot of sleepless nights for certain officials trusted with maintaining law & order over the next couple of weeks............................ Not too keen on the news source though. Also find it strange that they didn't mention the countries of origin of the 10 illegal foreign workers; almost guaranteed if they were from a 'white-face' nation they most certainly would be identified. chrisinth
Someone wasn't "cooperating" with the right people? If that were the case, wouldn't that be ironic if the person who ordered the raid showed up in the payment transition records seized........................... Not saying it would ever happen though, but none-the-less........
AlQaholic
"three months of preparations" ?????? You just pick any random big massage parlor in Bangkok and you can raid it and find all the same shit there without wasting three months of preparation..... Or is it just another way of saying: "Some of our higher officers where caught red-handed frequenting the place frequently, so we had to take action because they where being blackmailed by the parlor with videotapes and stuff".... SussexExpat
What I find surprising is that it only took 3 months to gather information. Surely 3 years would have been more appropriate to ensure they had enough evidence.

Artisi
Being a undercover cop certainly has its ups and downs! But somebody's gotta do it? Interestingly, scientific data following extensive studies on males ranging from 5 to 95 years of age, shows the the number of downs equals the number of ups, although the ups / downs on the older end of the sample was at times difficult to fully test.
