The Royal Cruise Hotel has a very nice Seafood Buffet for arround 600 Baht. I enjoyed it some time ago. Worth a visit if you are seafood lover. The Hotel is between Soi 2/3 right at the Beach Road. Bottled water, beverages, coffeee, etc. are extra. All you can eat. A few Thai selections also available. All in all, a good value. Thank you for the tip, I'm always on the lookout for different good quality places to eat. I had to look up Soi VC on the map and found it's quite close to Walking Street. I remember eating at a buffet for 99 baht on Third Road; it tasted great, but I awoke at 0400 am. I felt really bad, sweating and bellyache and nausea. I went to the bathroom, collapsed onto the toilet, and was in that unfortunate predicament of double-action simultaneous vomitting and bowel action. I have not revisited the said 'all you can eat 99 baht buffet'. I stick to eateries on Soi Bukhaew which have a regular turn over of freshly cooked food. Buffets are stagnant. In this climate, fecal-fingers, or a mis-directed coughed gob of phlegm might cause food to become bacteria-ridden and unpleasant food poisoning can occur. After reading your comments here, it will be difficult to enjoy a buffet. My personal reason for not frequenting buffets is that I tend to overeat at them.
